2019 North American Heartland Owners Rally – Goshen

Rally sites

Siting Plan Statement
The rally venue, the Elkhart County 4H Fairgrounds is a facility setup to serve the 4H community throughout the year and to host the county fair each July. As such, there’s a variety of buildings, animal pens, animal shelters, animal exercise areas, racetrack, stage and grand stand on property.

Additionally, this venue offers camping. Camping areas are in various locations throughout the property. In most cases, camping areas are setup such that the entire space can be used for multi-purpose use. This means that often times, camping areas are used for non-camping activities. You’ll notice right away that all camping utilities are set at the back of the sites, thereby facilitating mixed use of these areas.

Each camping area has a name or has been named by rally staff. We have two documents to assist attendees in better understanding the camping areas and choosing an area to stay in during the rally:

“General” Campsite / Camp Area Information document

“Specific” Campsite / Camp Area Information document

As we’ve done in past years at this venue, we’re using an area/site selection process where each attendee chooses their own area and in small number of cases, their own site.  Once an area is full or a specific site is chosen, that area or site are no longer available to other attendees.

In some cases, in order to not lose even a single full-hookup site, we need to park attendees in certain sites within the area the attendee has chosen – first. Not doing so will cause the loss of a number of sites and it’s our goal to get as many attendees as possible, onto full-hookup sites.

For attendees wanting to be grouped together, this is only possible if all attendees chose the same area (Northwest not included) and where all parties in that group arrive at the venue together. While we cannot guarantee it, this will best assure you’ll be sited as near one another as possible.

Heartland RVs Reports Toy Hauler Sales Heat Up

Heartland RVs is reporting marked sales growth for its Road Warrior and Edge fifth-wheel toy haulers in 2016 as year-over-year retail registrations have grown 45 percent, the company said, citing internal data. *“Our market share growth for the Road Warrior and Edge has increased significantly,” stated General Manager Andy Wesdorp in a press release. “In addition, we launched two new floorplans for Edge this past fall, dialing in on specific features and amenities that are trending with consumers. The typical toy hauler buyer has changed from five years ago and we continue to adapt and build product that targets those hot button features with consumers. Our dealers have taken note, and responded by stocking more units which has resulted in phenomenal retail growth.”Eyeing future growth into 2017, Heartland opened a new plant at its Elkhart, Ind., campus in late November dedicated to production of the Edge and Road Warrior brands.

Passport

2017 North American Heartland Owners Rally – Goshen

A word about your Rally Passport

The Elkhart County 4H Fairgrounds is a very large property and is open daily for both public and private events. Most of our rally activities will be held in the ECCC building that we call our Rally Hall. However, we will have some activities in other buildings and a few outdoor locations throughout the property.

To ensure our rally functions remain private, open only to rally attendees, we ask that you wear your Rally Passport when out and about the Fairgrounds property. Your Rally Passport consists of a color printed plastic badge and a blue lanyard. They are meant to be worn around your neck, with the badge in the front.

A Rally Passport and lanyard has been included in your rally bag, one for each registered rally attendee. Below is an image of the passport.

In addition to your Rally Passport, kindly wear your Club Member Badge during pre-rally and rally functions so other attendees may know who you are and make your acquaintance.
